Tonight on June 29, 2015, we had a smoky red full moon in Minnesota, USA and thought I should share pictures of it in comparison to a shot of the moon in Dublin, Ireland taken in April 2014 with it's rotation turning to the right while in the US it's on the left.
UPDATE: It turns out the orange color on the moon was caused by the fires in Canada and Alaska, which can explain the hazy weather too in Minnesota.
